DOORS FROM NATURAL VENEER

Wood is a unique material. It is obtained from nature and brings warmth and coziness when brought into the home, unmatched by other materials. Every type of wood has its characteristic structure, color, and grain pattern. There are many types of wood used, but the most commonly used ones are oak, beech, mahogany, ash, and cherry.

Natural wood, especially from exotic species like mahogany, zebrawood, palisander, ebony, bubinga, and wenge, is favored for inspiring interior solutions. Architects and designers prefer it due to the variety of the natural market and the unique appearance of wood, which give individuality and character to the rooms where wood-paneled doors are installed.

HOW IS WOOD USED IN THE MANUFACTURE OF INTERIOR AND ENTRANCE DOORS?

It starts with the initial processing of the wooden logs, from which a thin sheet is cut. This is done in two ways: tangentially - along the annual rings of the wood or radially - perpendicular to them. Parts that look similar are selected and glued together in panels with specified dimensions. These panels are then covered with MDF or chipboard, flat surfaces with varying thicknesses. Doors with natural wood veneer are made from these panels.

Customers often think that wood-paneled doors are susceptible to scratches, but this is a big mistake. Modern technologies allow for the final processing of wood to be done with colorless varnishes, which preserve the unique appearance while making it resistant to mechanical impacts. Wood is resistant to UV rays and moisture.

The SAPELI factory, whose representative for Bulgaria is Doordecor, has many years of experience in the production of wood-paneled doors. Over 3 million doors have been produced from 1993 to the present. They have created over 20 models of doors made from natural wood - solid or glazed, with metal inserts, milling, and other features.

Customers can choose from doors with various designs, hundreds of combinations, and thousands of possibilities!
