THE FUTURE BELONGS TO LAMINATED INTERIOR DOORS

Laminated interior doors are becoming increasingly popular over time. The reasons for this are many, with the main ones being their high practicality and affordable price. Laminated doors are able to withstand high temperatures, and even if someone were to put out a cigarette on them, there would be no visible damage. This allows the beauty of the doors to be preserved despite daily use. In every household, doors are prone to damage, whether from accidental bumps or children trying to draw on them with markers or crayons. Laminate can endure most challenges that doors face during their lifespan without losing their good external appearance.

There are many types of laminated interior doors, and they vary in the quality of their coating. The cheapest laminate is thin like paper and is impregnated with acrylic resins or melamine. This coating is not environmentally friendly and is not very durable. The thickness of this type of coating is only 0.2 mm, making it suitable for covering surfaces with large curves. This type of coating creates a perfect illusion of natural wood, but despite this, it has several disadvantages. Besides being harmful to the environment, it has poor adhesion to the base and low resistance to UV light. This leads to rapid damage, with cracks and color loss forming. These doors have only one advantage - their low price.

Much more positive qualities are found in laminate with a thickness of 0.4 to 0.8 mm. This is a polymer coating that is highly resistant to UV light, mechanical stress, and scratching. The appearance of doors created with this type of coating is a perfect imitation of wood, which makes this type of door very popular among buyers. They receive beautiful interior doors with high resistance to mechanical and thermal effects at a very good price.

Manufacturers of laminated coatings for interior doors constantly conduct tests and seek ways to improve the quality of the coating. The latest innovations are almost indistinguishable from natural wood. The biggest challenge is environmental compatibility, which is closely monitored. The increased demand for laminated doors saves forests in a natural way - buyers prefer them because they are cheaper, which reduces the production of wooden doors covered with natural veneer.

Laminated doors have many advantages over those made from natural materials. They are easy to maintain, requiring no special care, and can be cleaned with just water. They have high durability and can last for many years without repairs or replacement. Doors made entirely of natural materials are much more expensive and have many maintenance requirements. Laminate gives consumers what they need - beautiful, practical, durable, and most importantly, affordable interior doors.
